The Tilburg Trappers Hockey Club were welcomed guests to ROCKIES last Saturday. The Dutch club were in town to face the Belfast Giants at the Odyssey Arena. The Giants edged the Trappers 5-4 in a very close match. After the game both teams settled into ROCKIES of which the Tilburg Trappers presented ROCKIES with a signed jersey.
The Netherland Team also included former Belfast Giant JOSH PRUDDEN and BARRY SMITH who is their head coach. During Barry's career he served for 6 years as assistant coach to the NHL's Vancouver Canucks. The Trappers who were formed in 1938 are one of Holland's most successful ice hockey clubs
