ROCKIES owner Jim Graves paid tribute to the nearly 200 Belfast Giants  fans that made their way to Landshut GERMANY to support the Giants at the recent Continental Cup. Words can't describe the role that the fans played during this competition remarks Jim. No doubt they acted like an extra player for the team during the matches. I know for a fact that the Belfast Giants players , coaches and managers really appreciated their efforts and not only  travelling to Landshut but getting behind the boys  during all the games  , Jim added.

 Despite coming in second the Giants players gave a great account of themselves with strong performaces with an 11 - 1 win over Dutch Champions Geleen Smokeeaters and a 4 - 0 triumph over Romanian Champs HSC Csikszereda. The Saturday game against German hosts Landshut Cannibals saw the lads fall to a 7 - 1 defeat which certainly did not reflect the immense efforts by the Giants.

Regardless a great trip for all.
